     All bus delays or cancellations in Renfrew County will be posted here.

    Renfrew County is broken down into seven (7) geographical regions/ zones or as we call them, seven (7) school areas.  Out of the seven (7) schools areas we service a number of schools within each of those areas.  Additionally, each of the schools are serviced at different times known as staggered bells which represents different tiers.  Tier 1 would always mean an early start time (around 8:00AM-8:30AM) in the morning then a Tier 2 (around 9:00AM-9:30AM) for a later start in the morning. The same bus may service both Tiers. To identify which schools are in each of the areas or affected by which Tier, please read below;

    In addition, as parents, you have the first responsibility to decide whether or not it is safe and reasonable to send your child out to a school bus stop, or to school, on days of extreme conditions.  Make the safest choice for your child.

    When school bus cancellations are announced in the morning, they are for the whole day.  If you choose to bring your child/children into school, you will be responsible for their return home after school.

    Please Note:
    School transportation for both Jeanne-Lajoie and L'Equinoxe schools is arranged by the Consortium de transport scolaire d'Ottawa. For any transportation questions regarding these two schools, please visit their website: www.transportscolaire.ca
